Now, replying to a post on X about Halo on PS5, Windows Central’s Jez Corden says he’s “heard” that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be the first Halo game to make the jump. Corden followed up the reply, saying it probably won’t happen anytime soon, though.Corden’s comments follow a report earlier this year from insider NatetheHate, who suggested that Microsoft is preparing a slew of Xbox exclusives for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2, including Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator.At the time, the report was corroborated by Windows Central, which also named Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and Age of Mythology: Retold as other games on the docket, and “potentially” Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Last year, Xbox boss Phil Spencer said Microsoft has no “red lines” when considering games for other platforms, so it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise to see Halo follow Forza Horizon 5 this year.
