Loki will join the expansive Fortnite Battle Royale roster via the Fortnite Crew subscription service.

Epic Games introduced Fortnite Crew late last year as its first monthly subscription service. For $11.99 USD per month, subscribers receive exclusive in-game cosmetics, 1,000 V-Bucks and the seasonal Battle Pass for free. The price was well worth it for Fortnite players who enjoy collecting new skins and boasting them in-game. Thus far, we’ve seen everything from Galaxy skins to DC Comics’ Green Arrow in Fortnite Crew. July is a new month, and Epic Games announced Marvel supervillain “Loki” as the latest Crew addition.

Loki to Join Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite’s official Twitter account brought exciting news to fans worldwide. Loki will add himself to the already impressive cast of Marvel Comics characters in the game, including Iron Man, Thor, Groot and even Thanos. Epic teased Loki’s appearance in an exclusive Fortnite Crew loading screen last season, and they have followed through in a significant way.

“It seems Mecha Cuddle Master wasn’t the only one who found their way to the Island.

Looks like a trickster snuck his way through the portal and into the Fortnite Crew this July.”

The timing couldn’t be better, considering the success of the new Loki series that currently runs on the Disney Plus service. Epic Games did not reveal Loki’s in-game appearance or the various cosmetics accompanying the character’s outfit. However, we can safely assume that the supervillain will come with a loading screen, wrap, back bling and pickaxe. Players looking to enlist in Fortnite Crew to grab Loki should refer to Epic’s website.

Anyone who enrolls before July 1 will receive the Mecha Cuddle Master. We will be sure to update this post when Epic reveals the July pack’s contents. Also, check out our article where we ranked all Fortnite Crew skins.
