An update to the Marvel’s Avengers roadmap shows that the Klaw Raid will be added with Patch 2.2 on November 30th, the same day Spider-Man arrives as a PlayStation exclusive hero. Over on the Marvel’s Avengers site, the devs tell us that “you’ll want to assemble your best four-player squad” for the Klaw Raid. “Following the events of the War for Wakanda Expansion, the sonic monster Klaw has returned to the Vibranium Mound with a seething determination to destroy Wakanda. This is where you finish him off for good and claim the highest-end gear — but he’s so not going down without a fight.” November 30th is the same day that Spider-Man arrives in the game for PlayStation players — the devs clarified that Spider-Man will be the only platform exclusive character — along with the Spider-Man: With Great Power Hero Event. Other additions of the patch include an increase to the Power Level from 150 to 175. “Want the best gear? Then you’ll have to complete the game’s toughest challenge,” the devs add. “The new four-player Klaw Raid: Discordant Sound is waiting for you.” Gear with a high power level can be “recycled” to level up your current gear, while shipments will be added as a way to earn cosmetics. Per-hero weekly objectives will also be implemented as a way to “farm the weekly rewards once a week for each eligible Hero, rather than for only one Hero per week.” On top of that, the Tachyon Anomaly event will return to run from November 11th to the 18th. It’s been a turbulent time for Marvel’s Avengers. Just recently, the devs made the decision to “remove Hero’s Catalysts and Fragment Extractors for purchase” after a negative reception from players, while in its annual report, Square Enix labelled Marvel’s Avengers a “disappointing outcome”.What do you think of the upcoming content, and Square Enix’s statement?
