The next major update for Marvel’s Avengers is set to arrive tomorrow, adding Jane Foster as playable hero The Mighty Thor. However, none of the early patch notes suggest we will be getting a fix for its broken achievement.The Investing in the Future achievement was rendered discontinued last year when a rework to the game’s upgrade system seemingly messed with the unlock conditions. Despite several sizeable updates since, there still seems to be no fix in sight for this troublesome achievement, nor any of the other Marvel’s Avengers achievements that have proven buggy for some players.Will Marvel’s Avengers’ Investing in the Future achievement ever be fixed?The dev team today dropped a deep dive on the new update alongside the War Table video above, but neither this nor the June development update from earlier in the month (or any other recent dev blog post, for that matter) have so much as a mention of achievements, let alone a time frame for a fix for Investing in the Future — given that it has been broken for months at this point, you’d expect an imminent fix to be something the team would want to announce in articles like these if it was happening. We’ll keep an eye out for the full patch notes and player testing results once the update is live and keep you posted, as it’s still possible we could be pleasantly surprised, but early signs certainly don’t look promising for this issue being resolved.Need this achievement for the completion?
