Patch 2.3 has arrived for Marvel’s Avengers, and Square Enix says it’s “all about the War Table,” with updated mission chains and more. According to Square Enix, the goal was “to make the onboarding process simpler for new players. We’ve updated mission chains and the War Table to streamline this process, and Nick Fury returns in game to guide players through these changes.”The changes include a new mission chain to “guide players more easily through the Avengers Initiative’s variety of content” and a change to the Power Level of certain content. The new mission chain led by Nick Fury includes Reigning Supreme’s mission chain rewards, while “new mission chains meant to onboard players to various mission and systems have been added,” and “a new mission chain has been added tracking completion of all Heroic Mission Chains except Spider-Man’s.” The Reigning Supreme, Hive Mind, Cloning Around, and Vault Discovery mission chains have been removed. The SHIELD Protocols, Inhuman Sanctuary, Iconic Avengers, Last Avenger Standing, Beating the Odds, and Rise and Shine mission chains have been updated.
