Marvel Rivals has one of the coolest (and probably one of the most lucrative) collections of character skins in gaming right now, with some brilliant comic-inspired costumes for its lineup of superheroes. While some are a tad suggestive, it’s largely left the thirst trapping to modders. However, ahead of Marvel Rivals Season 2, NetEase has unveiled a new premium costume for upcoming hero Emma Frost, and it’s by far and away its most NSFW skin yet.
With the Marvel Rivals Season 2 release date arriving next week, there’s plenty to get excited about. Team-Ups are being adjusted, costume gifting is arriving as a new feature, and two highly-anticipated characters will join the roster – Ultron and Emma Frost. The latter will be available straight away in Marvel Rivals Season 2, as will this new costume that’s been unveiled today.
The Emma Frost X-Revolution skin is an epic rarity costume that will be purchasable as part of a bundle in the store. The bundle will also come with an MVP animation, emote, nameplate, and spray. As you can see, her classy black, gold, and diamond-encrusted outfit is pretty revealing, particularly from the front, and unsurprisingly, it’s causing quite the stir already.
Don’t think for a moment though that NetEase has just dreamt up this rather suggestive outfit out of thin air. Like most of the best Marvel Rivals skins, this is directly inspired by the comics. In this case, it resembles Emma Frost’s appearance in the Uncanny X-Men series.
Prior to this reveal, I’d probably say that Invisible Woman’s Malice skin was the number one way to get yourself a cell in horny jail – either that or making a cheeked-up Venom twerk with that cursed new emote. However, Emma Frost may have just taken the top spot. With a pretty diverse and versatile kit, she was always going to be a popular choice for those that enjoy playing as a Vanguard, but the X-Revolution skin has probably upped that popularity to new levels.
Marvel Rivals Season 2, Emma Frost, and her X-Revolution skin all drop on Friday, April 11.
While the meta is probably going to get a big shakeup thanks to balance changes and the rework of Team-Ups, it’s worth taking a look at our Marvel Rivals tier list to see who the strongest heroes are for the final week or so of Season 1.
