Lords Mobile, IGG’s ultra-popular mobile and PC strategy MMO, is in the midst of a kickass summer collaboration.
And we really do mean kickass.
From June 1st until July 31st, Lords Mobile is playing host to characters from THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV, the latest entry in the long-running beat ‘em up series from legendary arcade game studio SNK.
The collab sees fighters Kyo Kusanagi and Mai Shiranui joining the fray in Lords Mobile and attempting to conquer the Kingdoms of Athena. With their fists.
There’s a host of exclusive items to collect throughout the event, including Castle Skins, Leader Skins, Collab Avatars, Collab Emotes, Artifacts, and a Guild Frame.
Gameplay-wise, the Lords Mobile x THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV features a ton of different activities.
There’s the Fighter’s Stadium, where you can spend Fighter’s Tickets to collect photo fragments and piece together photos. This in turn lets you win exclusive rewards, such as the Arcade Adventure Castle Skin, the Mai Shiranui Castle Skin, emotes, avatars, and more.
To obtain these Fighter’s Tickets, simply complete Kingdom Labors, Daily Logins, and Monster Hunts.
Then there’s the Fighter’s Gym, where you can exchange Fighter’s Emblems for exclusive items like the Kyo Kusanagi Leader Skin, Championship Belt, Power Gloves, and the collab emotes and avatars.
Plus, there are four different events to get your teeth into.
The Homecoming event is an opportunity to win gift cards by inviting your old allies to return to the game. This one is live from June 6th to June 19th.
Fighters Faction War consists of five challenge rounds over five days: June 13th to June 17th. To take part, all you need to do is complete specific quests. This in turn lets you launch attacks on behalf of your faction, unlocking all kinds of rewards.
Fighters Puzzle, which runs from June 25th to June 30th, lets you complete quests in exchange for puzzle pieces. Once you’ve finished a puzzle you’ll get Fighter’s Blessing, while tackling bonus quests could also win you a Bonus Fighter’s Gift.
At the end of this event, a lucky player will win the Fighter’s Bundle, which consists of a selection of physical prizes including a Pillow Hugging Figure set, an Oath Keeper figure, an electric toothbrush, keyboard, mouse, and vinyl record, all branded.
Finally, there’s THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV Showdown, from July 17th to July 28th. Over those days you’ll be able to earn points by completing quests over three rounds, with the top 100 guilds all receiving an exclusive collab Guild Frame.
