About Mark Bathrick

A retired Naval Aviator and a Captain, his experience includes roles as a pilot, test pilot, and an innovator in aviation technology. Bathrick’s leadership at the DOI marked a period of significant advancement in the use of drones for public service, earning him national recognition and several awards for his pioneering efforts in aviation policy and the application of drones for public good. Most recently, Mr. Bathrick was named a UC Berkeley Disaster Lab Fellow.
