Love and Deepspace Nicknames
Once you reach Affinity Level 30 with any of the love interests, you can choose which nickname you’d like them to call you. While you can enter any nickname, there a certain ones that trigger in-game voice lines.
If you type in a nickname that doesn’t have a voice line, they ignore it and carry on the sentence like usual, though it still appears in the on-screen text.
- Some players state that these nickname voice lines only work when you have the language setting to CN, though this may already have been updated to apply to the EN voices too – try it out!
Nicknames with Voicelines
Players are still testing out different nicknames to see if they activate special voice lines with Rafayel, Sylus, Xavier, Zayne, or Caleb. The known nicknames so far are:
- Honey
- Girlfriend
- Darling (a favourite for Sylus to say, but works with the other love interests)
- Wife (reportedly works with Zayne)
- Cutie (it looks like all of them can say this, but especially Rafayel)
How to Set Nicknames in Love and Deepspace
After reaching Affinity Level 30 with one of the love interests, you can set a nickname for them to call you.
- Tap the ‘Profile’ button in the top left of the main screen
- Tap the pencil button next to your account name
- Select the ‘Nickname’ tab
- Tap the drop-down button to select which character you want to set a nickname for
- Type in the nickname you want them to call you in the text box
- Tap the ‘Confirm’ button
