Loud vs Detonation FM Recap

Byadmin

Oct 4, 2022

Detonation FM will face Royal Never Give Up in a Bo5 to qualify for Worlds 2022 Main Event. As LLL exits Worlds 2022, DFM will have the fight of their life against RNG as the Chinese team has been known only to lose bo5’s to Worlds champions.

Loud vs Detonation FM Game 1

A very close game rewarded the CBLOL reps its first win. Strong lane presence and decisive battles for supremacy over the jungle buffs impressed the crowd. Robo’s Aatrox used smart plays to turn the tide, and any strategy DFM had at the start constantly shifted until they saw turrets fall. The two teams stared down the lane until strong sets by LLL led to one victorious clash after another. Miss Fortune’s zoning capability and strong scaling made Japan’s top seed hesitant in their approach, and Loud used every opportunity they got to forge their way to a win.

  • Teams: LLL 1 – 0 DFM
  • Time: 44:48
  • Kills: 18 – 20
  • Turrets: 9 – 4
  • Gold: 83.3k – 76.1k
  • Dragons: 3 – 3
  • Barons: 3 – 0

Loud vs Detonation FM Game 2

Game 2 had tense teamfights for DFM, and a great flank by LLL almost cost them another game. Croc’s Hecarim had better control over jungle early game, which helped him ambush middle lane while LLL took early game control over bottom lane. Hesitation from CBLOL’s side resigned the first dragon to Detonation, which was the beginning of the end. Smart plays by Yaharong saw their team take an early gold advantage while he escaped from multiple enemies ganks. LLL strategically traded turrets and map presence for rift herald in midgame. Croc and Robo made sure to punish any advancement on bottom lane by winning teamfights, but Yaharong’s smart counters against Tinowns’ Galio prevented their team from setting up successful combos in team engagements.

The 2000 gold lead gave DFM enough of an advantage to almost win the fight at 22 minutes, but Robo’s big brain teleport flank coupled with Galio’s “Hero’s Entrance” massively halted DFM’s momentum. The Brazillian team focused on careful picks to avoid another snowball and played it cool before they stepped on the gas after Baron came into play. Loud’s slow but sure climb back to an equal kill score almost worked, but desperate plays to steal Baron sent LLL’s hard hitters back to Fountain. One misstep in the midgame allowed DFM to bounce back, earning them the win.

  • Teams: LLL 1 – 1 DFM
  • Time: 31:28
  • Kills: 16 – 6
  • Turrets: 11 – 3
  • Gold: 63.3k – 50.9k
  • Dragons: 3 – 1
  • Barons: 2 – 0

Loud vs Detonation FM Game 3

Strong counter-champ picks by DFM helped them handle LLL’s destructive plays as Game 3 constant clashes between the Play-Ins qualifiers. DFM practiced more restraint in their playmaking, but Loud’s constant aggression rewarded them with more kills early game. Despite this, Tinowns’ strong control over middle lane made him a problem for the Japanese team. Loud’s split team could fend off DFM and grab dragons simultaneously, but Yaharong’s smart map control with Taliyah allowed Japan’s #1 seed to destroy a turret and take Rift in midgame.

Extremely precarious powerplays won LLL the third dragon. These maneuvers let them gather strength for an uncontested Baron take, but underutilized buffs by Loud’s MVPs caused them to lose an important fight, and Detonation’s brute force push led by Yutapon down mid lane took them to Inhibitor.

  • Teams: LLL 1 – 2 DFM
  • Time: 29:13
  • Kills: 13 – 16
  • Turrets: 3 – 7
  • Gold: 50.6k – 53.4k
  • Dragons: 4 – 1
  • Barons: 1 – 0

Detonation FM vs Loud Game 4

It was do or die for CBLOL’s representatives, and all eyes were on them. LLL went with a Ezreal/Leona bottom comp, while Yaharong’s pick gave him a damage trade advantage over LLL’s Galio. The match continued until Level 6, when it saw its first kills in a top lane trade. DFM took the lead when they switched up to a more combative playstyle. Despite the close calls, Japan won a risky contest for Herald. LLL’s players were fast to respond on top side, but Detonation adapted quickly and retreated when needed. Yaharong asserted his dominance against top lane tower dives as his team took dragon. Smart use of resources and time saw DFM dominate midgame. Loud’s mid lane tower dives were punished by Yaharong, who kept the snowball rolling. Loud was in a 3-13 deficit as they slowly lost the qualifier game. Loud still won the hearts and cheers of their fans despite the loss, and gave the crowd 4 incredible matches that were impressive for such a young e-sports roster.

  • Teams: LLL 1 – 3 DFM
  • Time:
  • Kills: 6 – 17
  • Turrets: 2 – 9
  • Gold: 40.0k – 53.0k
  • Dragons: 1 – 3
  • Barons: 0 – 1
