Side Cases in Judgment come in two main varieties. There is a Job Request Case List board at Yokohama 99. This lists Side Cases that you can pickup and complete at any time. Then there are also quests you can find when exploring the city, discovering new keywords, etc. We have divided these into the two different categories below. In case you are missing specific Side Cases, they are also numbered.

(11) The Forbidden Taste (Chapter 3)
Head to the restaurant and speak with the man. Use the keyword tool to find the Ramen stall. You will have to do this a few times. At some locations you will see the speech bubble icon. You need to stand nearby and listen to the conversation to progress. There’s 3 clues total. It appears at night, cats lead you there, and cats are used in the broth. You will then need to befriend a cat to complete the mission.

(1) Skateboard Detective vs. The Reseller (Chapter 2)
This is part of the main story, when you’re sent to the pawn shop to buy the collectible figure. You get attacked as you leave. Defeat The Reseller to complete the Side Case.

(2) The Falling Man (Chapter 3)
This is part of the main story, when you’re introduced to Side Cases. Follow the objectives until the end and then inspect the mans back pocket to find underwear. You then defeat him in combat to complete the Side Case.

(9) The Body Model Walks At Night (Chapter 3)
You will get a Buzzword Alert on your phone after returning to the detective agency when completely The Falling Man. Head into the school and toward the objective. When it escapes, use the sound detector to find it again. Once it’s day time, in Chapter 4, return to the School Cafeteria to complete the quest.

(7) The SRCs Hunt For The Truth (Chapter 3)
Listen to the two men speaking outside the school at this location. Open the Buzz Researcher and check the UFO keyword. Then head to the quest location to spot the UFO. Once you find the first UFO, another objective appears on Central ST. Go there, speak with the SRC, then follow the objective to the kitchen and head upstairs. Once you speak with the man use the keyword tool again to find the location of the UFO. When you get there, you will need to climb the small mound nearby so you are close enough to interact with it. Then you just need to take a picture.

(5) Where Is The Time Capsule (Chapter 3)
Head into the school and listen to the men talking, then offer to help. Head to the objective marker on the map and then use the investigation vision to inspect the trees. Then, in the distance, on the skyline, investigate the ferris wheel. Return the capsule to the men, explain it was taken by mistake, then speak with them again. Then leave the school and investigate the area where the new objective is, to the East, near Chinatown.

(15) Extracting The Past (Chapter 3)
After the battle where you defeat The Handyman, you will get this Side Case as part of the main story. You just need to hand in some Mugwort to complete it

(16) Extracting The Truth (Chapter 4)
A direct follow on from Extracting the Past. You need to deliver Roses for this one. There is a shop in the very North part of the map that sells Roses, it’s called Flowers 2 Go. Then you need some garlic, you can find this at another vendor in the North of the town, called Hero’s Harvest.

(04) Trying The Patience Of A Saint (Chapter 4)
Head to here, in the school, and speak with the teacher. Head to the Mystery Club Room. You may have to visit a few times to get the correct dialogue for this Side Case. Head to the Faculty Room upstairs. When you are searching for traps, check the right door, something is blocking it.

(21) Dastardly Detective: Introduction (Chapter 4)
During a main story mission in Chapter 4, you will be given a new device that let’s you listen for signals. After you find the bug in the vehicle, for the story mission, you will get a Noise keyword on your phone. Head to the area to investigate. You will see a striking woman in a red dress, really stands out. Use the device on her to start and complete this side case.
