Ubisoft has dropped some good news! Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is coming to Android and pre-registration is now live on Android. It will land on mobile on April 14th, 2025. It’s not often we see a big console title like this making its way to mobile, so it’s definitely created a buzz.
What’s the Story?
You get to play as Sargon, a fearless young hero on a mission to save Prince Ghassan. You’re summoned by Queen Thomyris and sent to Mount Qaf. It’s a cursed city crawling with time-corrupted enemies and intimidating mythological creatures.
Your job is to restore balance to the world using your Time Powers and mad combat skills. You do so by stringing together combos to take down enemies while navigating intense platforming challenges. Catch a glimpse of the official pre-registration trailer for Prince of Persia: Lost Crown.

The mobile version has a revamped interface that’s more touch-friendly and has options to customize pretty much every button. It offers external controller support as well. You can even remap the buttons to fit your style.
The game supports native screen ratios from 16:9 to 20:9. And performance-wise, they’ve optimized it to run at 60 FPS on modern smartphones. Stuff like auto-potion, auto-parry and slow-time options have also been upgraded.
There’s also an optional shield, direction indicators and a wall grab hold feature, which should help when the platforming sections start getting tricky. Once it drops, you get a demo version to try out.
If you like action-adventure platformers, especially the Metroidvania types, this one’s worth keeping an eye on. So, pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store.
