Hardware and peripherals manufacturer Logitech has announced a range of new products and projects during Logi PLAY 2024, the company’s yearly digital event.
The new products include a revised simulation racing lineup, a new G915 X keyboard in two sizes, a refreshed Astro A50 wireless headset and the launch of more PRO Series products.

Logi PLAY is Logitech’s yearly event, during which the company hosts giveaways and announces new products similar to how tech companies such as Google and Apple launch their products. Last year’s event saw the launch of several new PRO Series products. This year, Logitech continued its PRO focus, expanded its simulation racing lineup and launched several other new products.
Mice
Several new products were added to the PRO lineup of mice. The critically acclaimed PRO Lightspeed mouse is now in its second iteration, simply called the PRO 2 Lightspeed. The new mouse features better switches, the latest HERO 2 sensor, and almost 100 hours of battery life with no lighting and around 60 hours with RGB lighting on.
The mouse is joined by the PRO x Superlight 2 DEX, which is essentially an ergonomic version of the PRO X Superlight 2 mouse, contoured for better comfort while providing the same ultralight shell and internals and high performance. Logitech shared that the mouse was co-developed with over 30 esports athletes including those from NAVI, G2, TSM, Astralis and FlyQuest RED.
Other mice updates include a new limited-edition version of the well-known G502, made from aluminium instead of plastic and limited to just 502 pieces.
Keyboards
The new mice are joined by two new keyboards: the PRO X TKL Rapid and the G915 X Lightspeed. The PRO model features analogue switches with adjustable actuation, similar to other competitors such as the Razer Huntsman Pro. The keyboard also offers two separate inputs per key depending on the amount of force, meaning that players can have one input for a slight press, and another input when the key reaches the bottom.
The G915 X comes in two versions, wired and wireless, and is the newest in Logitech’s line of low-profile boards. This board aims to combine typing comfort with gaming features. In contrast to the PRO lineup, the G915 is aimed more at everyday gamers but is still a more feature-packed (and physically larger) version of the G515 announced earlier this year.
Logitech prioritized the typing experience, so the company fitted the board with a thicker aluminium plate to make it more solid. Logitech clearly sees the low-profile market as a viable niche, with several product launches in a short time span.
Other announcements
The Astro lineup of gaming headsets is refreshed with an updated A50 range, the flagship Astro models that feature seamless switching between three separate inputs, graphene drivers and 24-hour battery life together with a base station for charging.
The company has also announced a partnership with Genshin Impact which will see several new co-branded products launched in the coming weeks. Streamlabs integration was also enhanced with new AI features.
Logitech also announced an entirely new range of pro-oriented simulation racing hardware, including a wheel hub, two wheels, a wheelbase, and more.
