Bandai Namco is looking for a producer assistant to join the team working on its “headline IP” Little Nightmares, which could mean that a sequel is in development at Bandai Namco Europe. After the excellent Little Nightmares II in 2021, it would come as no surprise if Bandai Namco was looking to continue to franchise with a sequel, and by the look of a recent job listing from the company, a new Little Nightmares game could be in development. Is Little Nightmares 3 in development?According to a LinkedIn job listing, Bandai Namco Europe is looking for an intern producer assistant to join the team dedicated to its “headline IP: Little Nightmares,” suggesting that a third game in the series might be coming. The advertised role requires the candidate to ensure milestones are met, provide feedback on the advancement of the project, “provide qualitative support to the Little Nightmares production team by reviewing the game on multiple platforms, make comparative playthroughs, liaise with QA, etc,” and more. It’s worth noting that Tarsier Studios, the developer behind Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares II probably isn’t involved with this project. Last year, Tarsier’s parent company Embracer Group announced that the studio would no longer work on Little Nightmares due to the franchise being owned by Bandai Namco, and will instead “focus on creating new IPs.” If this is a follow-up game, it’s more than likely being developed in-house at Bandai Namco Europe. It’ll be exciting to see what the mystery project is, so we’ll let you know once Bandai Namco reveals a little more. Would you be up for another game in the Little Nightmares universe? Drop down below and let us know!
