The Tampa Bay Lightning have the Stanley Cup within their grasp. The Montreal Canadiens hope to hold them off. Here’s how to watch Game 4.
On Tuesday night, a Stanley Cup champion may be crowned.
The Tampa Bay Lightning hope that’s the case as they look to close out the series against the Canadiens with a four-game sweep.
Montreal is playing for their lives with a last-gasp effort to extend the series.
The Lightning have dominated proceedings so far. The defending champions have won three games by more than one goal, nabbing a 5-1 victory in Game 1, followed by a 3-1 effort in Game 2 and a 6-3 runaway in Montreal in Game 3.
The change of venue didn’t help the Canadiens get a foothold in the series. They haven’t had any answers for Tampa Bay’s attack, with goalkeeper Carey Price conceding 4.39 goals per game in the Stanley Cup Playoff. His save percentage is at 83.5.
Meanwhile, Andrei Vasilevskiy has been impervious for the Lightning with a save percentage of 94.8.
Desperate times call for desperate measures as the Canadiens plan to shake up their lineup. According to Greg Wyshynski of ESPN, Montreal will throw in Brett Kulak and Alexander Romanov on defense over Jon Merrill and Erik Gustafsson. Jesperi Kotkeniemi will also sit down in favor of Jake Evans.
Tampa Bay is still uncertain about the status of injured left wing Alex Killorn. He is a game-time decision for Game 4.
