Lenovo is not a new name in the gaming space, having supported the industry through its laptops and peripherals for years. Through its Lenovo Legion brand, the company has previously partnered with esports organisations such as Complexity Gaming and G2 Esports, as well as tournament organisers like ESL, Apex Legends Global Series and the Rainbow Six Siege Majors.

For FURIA this deal follows a trend of commercial partnerships for the Brazilian esports organisation as last year the company announced a new Head of Partnerships and Customer Success. The company has been very active with deals regarding merchandise, partnering with sportswear brand Champion to launch an apparel collection and creating a My Hero Academia merch line with Crunchyroll.

FURIA also recently unveiled a brand new office and training centre in Brazil, with a total capacity of 150 people. The South American esports brand currently boasts teams in CS2, Apex Legends, League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, Street Fighter, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League and VALORANT.

André Akkari, Co-Founder and Co-CEO at FURIA commented on the partnership renewal: “FURIA always seeks to connect with leading brands in their segments, and we are delighted to continue with Lenovo Legion by our side.

“Our work philosophy makes our partners active parts of the sociocultural movement that FURIA is, impacting both competitively and through our projects and community connections.”
