We based our rankings on the latest data on winrate in all tiers of play and included some popular standouts. That said, take these lists with a grain of salt. Any champion can be S-tier as long as you’re having fun.
Top Lane

The top lane saw the least amount of changes this patch. With Kennen’s solid balance update, we’re keeping him at A-tier for now. But the wave of champ nerfs from pro-play is going to bump Rumble off of our Best League of Legends Champions for Solo Queue tier list.
Jungle

Graves’ late-game buffs on Q make him a prime pick, but the nerfs on Fleet Footwork put him A for now. Kindred on the other hand gets a bump up for the bonus AD and Attack Speed they’re getting in 14.17 (despite late-game scaling).

Picks like Sylas hard-counter strong meta picks like Malphite, Gnar and Nassus, so we put him in a great spot in this update. Alongside our current roster, Lissandra is going up to A for the buffs on her Q and R, making her a fantastic control mage on any competitive tier.
ADC

While the Fleet Footwork nerfs directly impact her threat in 14.17, First Strike Caitlyn shows a lot of promise, so expect the Sheriff of Piltover to be a priority pick in solo queue. That said, champs like Exreal is taking a back seat in the B-tier due to the small minus on his base AD.

With the item nerfs going around, only a few melee Supports are worth playing in 14.17, putting versatile champs like Leona and Rell up for their early crowd-control. Riot dialled Senna back for this update, but we don’t expect changes to her heal to impact her value much, especially if you’re rushing Cleaver.
