Formula One (F1) driver Lando Norris has revealed that he will wear a Quadrant-themed helmet during the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix.

Norris, a driver for McLaren, is the founder of the esports organisation which launched in 2020.

The design of the helmet moves away from Norris’ distinctive fluorescent green colour, which is also the primary colour of the Quadrant brand. According to a social media post from the organisation, the ‘liquid carbon’ design is a ‘tease for Quadrant’s rebrand’ set to take place in early 2025.

This isn’t the first time Norris has incorporated Quadrant into his F1 helmet designs. At the 2022 Singapore Grand Prix, the driver sported a design inspired by Halo’s Master Chief character to coincide with the organisation becoming a partner of the Halo Championship Series (HCS).

Lando Norris becomes the second F1 driver to sport a gaming-themed helmet design in 2024. Visa Cash App RB’s Yuki Tsunoda wore a VALORANT-themed helmet during the Belgian Grand Prix weekend as part of a collaboration with Red Bull Gaming.

Since launching in 2020, Quadrant has cemented itself as a major name in the US’s gaming and esports scene. In January 2024, the organisation secured a seven-figure investment through an investment round in addition to naming content creator WillNE as a co-owner. In May 2024, the organisation also extended its existing partnership with audio brand JBL Quantum.

Alongside its Halo team, Quadrant also fields Ethan ‘Fifakill’ Pink in Call of Duty: Warzone competitions. Outside of esports, the organisation consists of five content creators, merchandise sales and athlete sponsorship.
