Konami has revealed its lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2022, which includes a new unannounced game from a classic series. As reported by Gematsu, Konami has reserved a 45-minute slot on September 16th at 5.30am BST/ 3.30pm JST for the unannounced game “in which voice actor Yuki Kaji is invited on stage as a guest to represent fans of a world-loved series title.” Kaji has featured in numerous games in the past, including Final Fantasy, Shin Megami Tensei, and Fire Emblem. However, Konami says he’s there to represent the fans of whatever this world-loved series may be, so it’s possible that this new game might be related to any of his previous work. Konami to announce a new game from a “world-loved” series at Tokyo Game ShowIt’s rumoured that Konami is gearing up to revive major franchises such as Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, and Castlevania via new instalments and remasters. However, one publishing source has told VGC that Konami’s Tokyo Game Show reveal “is likely related to a smaller project.”The full lineup, which includes eFootball 2023, various Yu-Gi-Oh! games, and more, can be viewed in full on Konami’s website.
