The Killzone series may be rising from the ashes in the form of a PSVR 2 launch title, that is if informed speculation from reputable VR YouTube Channel ‘PSVR 2 Without Parole‘ is to be believed.Mentioned by channel owner Bryan Paul during their weekly Gamescast, a VR rendition of Killzone has reportedly been a topic behind the scenes for a number of years, with Supermassive games contracted to develop the title for the original PSVR following its success with adapting the Until Dawn series into virtual reality in the form of ‘Rush of Blood’, as well prequel The Inpatient.Fast forward to 2019 and a number of years of troubled development, Sony reportedly wasn’t happy with how the game was shaping up and pulled development from the Guildford-based developer and brought it in-house.It’s of course been a number of years since then and Paul believes that it’s probable the game has quietly continued development in the form of a PSVR 2 title and could well launch with Sony’s new headset.
