Nexon has announced that players on Xbox Series X|S can now dive into The First Berserker: Khazan’s Xbox demo. You’ll be able to experience the game’s first two missions, and any progress you make will carry over to the full release when we start collecting The First Berserker: Khazan achievements on March 27, 2025. If you prefer your Xbox RPGs to be “hardcore,” this one could be for you.The First Berserker: Khazan demo progress carries over to the full releaseThe First Berserker: Khazan’s new demo features three-to-four hours of gameplay across two missionsAll progress made in the demo will carry over to the game’s full release on March 27, 2025Platforms: Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PCAs announced by Neople on X, The First Bezerker: Khazan demo includes the game’s first two missions: Mount Heinmach and Stormpass, which should take around three to four hours to complete. Although the game is a “hardcore action-RPG,” only Normal and Easy difficulty modes will be available during the demo, but it should be enough to give you a decent taste of what its intriguing world has to offer. The game plays on Normal difficulty as default, but Neople says you’ll be able to switch it down to Easy after completing the first mission if that’s what you’d prefer. Additionally, all progress you make will be carried over to the full release, so if you decide to buy The First Berzerker: Khazan at a later date, you can pick up where you left off.Set within the Dungeon Fighter Online universe, The First Berserker: Khazan takes place 800 years before the events seen in Nexon’s multiplayer game. Set on the continent of Arad, you step into the shoes Khazan, the First Berserker. On a quest for vengeance after being falsely accused of treason, Khazan must master lost combat skills as he fights for survival in the snowy mountains. As with any action-RPG worth its salt, expect to come face-to-face with an array of dangerous foes in the frigid mountain peaks, including hardcore bosses. Looking at the trailers, The First Berserker: Khazan looks gorgeous, wrapping its world in cel-shaded graphics, which makes the hack-and-slash action pop on screen as Khazan cuts through his enemies. While I’m not a big fan of hardcore action-RPGs, I am tempted to drop in and check this one out — especially as this weekend’s Free Play Days aren’t my cup of tea. How about you? Will you be picking up the sword and helping out Khazan? Drop a comment below and let us know!
