There are 2 types of Jujutsu Infinite Maximum Scrolls, with the standard variant, and the Dimensional. One depends on a Special Grade drop, and the other is obtained through the main story.

Maximum Scroll
By using a Maximum Scroll, you can obtain a Maximum Technique. Luckily, this isn’t random, and you have the opportunity to select the one you desire. You can use as many as you want to unlock a variety of Maximum Techniques.
How to Obtain the Maximum Scroll
The Maximum Scroll is a potential reward in any chest, but with a 0.1% drop rate chance, it’s of a Unique rarity. There’s a small chance that Maximum Scrolls may spawn in random locations across the in-game map too!
At times, the Maximum Scroll is available in the Curse Market. As far as I know, you can either use 10 Jade Lotus of 48 Demon Fingers to exchange for 1 Maximum Scroll. There may be other items you can use to purchase the scroll, but these are the two I’ve come across so far.
- Jade Lotus
- A drop of Special Grade rarity from chests
- Demon Fingers
- A drop of Special Grade rarity from missions, boss raids, investigations, and chests
- Available from the Curse Market in exchange for either of the following:
- 18 Eerie Farm Keys
- 1 Overtime Trousers
- 17 Detention Center Keys
- 1 Demonic Robe
- 1 Playful Cloud
Dimensional Maximum Scroll
Like the standard Maximum Scroll, using the Dimensional variant also unlocks your Maximum Technique. If you’re not sure what this is, it adds a bonus ability to your Innate Technique! Not all Innate Techniques have a potential Maximum though.
How to Obtain the Dimensional Maximum Scroll
You must play through the story missions to obtain the Dimensional Maximum Scroll. The level requirement for the specific mission is 360, but you must defeat the Volcano Curse (Jogo) boss twice before you can get the scroll. Don’t worry the game walks you through the linear route, leading you to both battles against the Volcano Curse.
