Jasmine Jasudavicius had quite an excruciating wait after her big win over Julia Polastri to kick off Week 3 of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Jasmine Jasudavicius could be the next great female fighter to make some noise in the promotion after her big win on Dana White’s Contender Series.

Jasudavicius’ striking was clutch once again on the biggest stage of her career, as she overwhelmed Julia Polastri en route to a unanimous decision win. During her post-fight press conference, Jasudavicius explained the nerves she felt waiting for the rest of the fights to play out before awaiting UFC president Dana White‘s contract handouts.

“I was hoping that I got the contract because after my fight Dana White gave me props,” Jasudavicius said. “I was watching the other fights and had butterflies in my stomach. But, Dana came through for me.”

Jasudavicius has always been known as a striker who dominates her opponents, after entering DWCS with a 5-1 record including a 52-second knockout over Christina Ricker at BTC 8. Her lone defeat came courtesy of Elise Reed in Cage Fury, in a controversial split-decision loss that many believed should’ve gone to Jasudavicius.

Jasmine Jasudavicius envisions a quick turnaround for her UFC debut

Jasudavicius is one of White’s favorite types of fighters, one who wants to remain active and doesn’t want to waste much time getting back into the octagon.

After arguably the biggest win of her MMA career, Jasudavicius is ready to make her UFC debut as soon as possible.

“I wanna fight, I’m ready and I always have things I need to work on,” Jasudavicius said. “I’m here for a reason, I want to get as many fights as I can in and reach the pinnacle of this sport.”
