League of Legends Patch 14.5 Item Changes
Items such as the Celestial Opposition get their cooldown reduced to 18 seconds, while the Frozen Heart item becomes slightly expensive at 2,500 in League’s Patch 14.5. Riot Games also decrease the armor rating of this item, changing to 65 from 75. The Heartsteel item gets wrapped in a blanket of nerfs, as Riot drastically reduces the damage from 100 to 80.
Dream MakerBlocked damage changed from 140 constant to 75-255 linear, bonus damage changed from 90 constant to 50-170. However, players should note that starting with League of Legends Patch 14.5, players can no longer buy a second Rod of Ages item after Ornn upgrades the first one. Pulled from patch due to “unforeseen issues.”
Solstice Sleigh gets it cooldown increased to 30 seconds, while the speed gets reduced from 25 to 35 percent. There are a list of adjustments to a variety of itens and the full list can be found by clicking on the official patch notes article here.

League of Legends Patch 14.5 Release Date and Time
League of Legends Patch 14.5 is scheduled to release on servers across all regions on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. The release date of Patch 24.5 follows the official patch schedule for 2024, with the exception of the last update, Patch 14.4 getting delayed. Fans should expect the servers to be down for multiple hours as Riot prepares to release Patch 14.5. Matchmaking will be down for three hours, or more, on March 6, the release date
