Is GoW Ragnarok coming to PC?
Reliable leakers have suggested that God of War Ragnarok will come to PC “very soon”. This would align with Sony’s PC port release schedule, which sees first-party titles arrive on PC around two to three years after their initial console launch.
The claim comes from prominent leaker Billbil-kun on X (formerly Twitter), who states that the “announcement date is imminent.” If this statement proves correct, we expect the GoW PC port announcement during Sony’s State of Play live showcase on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Alternatively, we might get official word during Summer Games Fest, which kicks off a few weeks later on Friday, June 7, 2024.
When asked about the release cadence of PlayStation PC ports, Sony CEO Jim Ryan confirms that PlayStation Studios is “proactive” and “staggering the release of the PC versions.” He has also observed that player feedback has shown that “selling the PC version two or three years after the release of the PS version is accepted favorably.”
Santa Monica Studio’s God of War arrived on PC in January 2022 with glowing reviews, so it’s no surprise that the sequel remains highly anticipated for PC players.
