Over the past week, DPReview news editor Gannon Burgett has captured a collection of images with Irix’s 30mm F1.4 Dragonfly lens mounted to his Canon EOS R (via Canon’s EF-RF mount adapter). This gallery is a subset of those images. Irix’s 30mm F1.4 lens is available for Canon EF, Nikon F and Pentax K mounts for $675, but can be adapted to various mirrorless mounts via adapters. The lens is manual focus, but does feature electrical contacts that allows you to control the lens’ aperture via your camera and transfers EXIF information from the lens to the camera body.
Check out the images to see how it performs across an array of apertures and environments.
