When the news broke that IO Interactive, the studio responsible for some of the best stealth games in the genre beginning with the most recent reboot of Hitman, would be taking on a James Bond project, it sounded like putting peanut butter and chocolate together.It just fits, right? While that still of course is the case, it seems like we’re going to be waiting quite some time before we see anything about this title, unfortunately.Spotted on by a user on Twitter, IO Interactive’s recent financial reports point to a cautious view of the future, one that expects revenue to decline “due to long production phases ahead,” the report read.IO Interactive has published its Annual Report 2021/22 (year ending 31st March 2022).Revenue came in at DKK 538m (~$72.4m), +7% YoY, more than 2x management expectations.
