After a dominating win against OG, G2 tasted their first defeat in IEM Dallas when faced with the sheer power of Heroic. m0NESY and his squadmates struggled to find answers in both maps, with the 4-16 score on Ancient being their worst, a map where their newest addition Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen had a terrible 6-17 K/D and a 0.37 rating.

With broky and ropz starting out strong on Mirage, it almost looked like FaZe would get a 2-0 victory against Cloud9 after a 16-7 score on the first map, especially with Abai “HObbit” Hasenov and Timur “buster” Tulepov underperforming on the opposite side.
