Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio dropped a lengthy trailer during the Xbox Partner Preview, offering up a look at Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s paradise island-management gameplay.Whether you’d like to swim with dolphins, explore the gorgeous rocky outcroppings of an island paradise, or design your very own vacation home, Infinite Wealth looks like it’ll be offering it all with the Like a Dragon twist we’ve come to love, thanks to Dondoko Island. Of course, it’s not all margaritas and sunburn, though, as we’ll have the responsibility of managing the island, such as building facilities and looking after the guests… and that includes dealing with the riffraff via turn-based combat!According to the Xbox Wire post, Dondoko Island will become available via a side story during Chapter 6 and it will act as an independent experience from the main story. Of course, the main portion of the game will offer a wealth of mini-games for us to enjoy, so the wacky fun won’t just be limited to the island.Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass on January 26, 2024.
