It was announced Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was coming to PS5 Spring 2025 during Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live show. Now that everyone knows PS5 Pro is set to enhance a spate of first and third party titles, PlayStation players may wonder if the timed Xbox exclusive will utilize the new fancy console. While signs point to ‘yes,’ the developers did not quite confirm nor deny it getting enhanced.

Will Indiana Jones and the Great Circle be PS5 Pro enhanced?

In a recent interview with IGN, Machine Games Design Director Jens Andersson essentially gave a non-answer when asked about PS5 Pro support. While his reply does not confirm an update with PS5 Pro dedicated graphics modes, he also doesn’t deny it.

“I don’t think we’ve said anything regarding the PS5 Pro,” says Andersson. He affirms that they haven’t and goes on to quickly update people on the base PS5 version.

“So we are obviously working on it. It’s coming out next spring, right? It’s going well,” says Andersson about the base PS5 version. “Again, it’s by its core, a multi-platform engine, so there are no huge restructuring or anything like that needed. So it’s going well.”

Indian Jones and the Great Circle would not be the first Xbox Game Studios game to receive PS5 Pro support. Back in October, Diablo’s Rod Fergusson confirmed Diablo IV, and its Vessel of Hatred expansion will be PS5 Pro enhanced. Details about how they plan to use the hardware have not yet been revealed.

“I’ve been getting this question quite a bit recently and I’m happy to say that Diablo IV and Vessel of Hatred will indeed be PS5 Pro Enhanced,” says Fergusson in a tweet. “Very proud of our hardworking team to make this happen. More details at a later date.”

There are currently over 80 games set to be PS5 Pro enhanced. Some games like Spider-Man 2, and Stellar Blade have already implemented updated prior to the consoles November 7, 2024 launch date.
