North American esports organisation Immortals has announced a partnership with artificial intelligence company Fetch.ai.
As part of the year-long agreement, both entities will collaborate on a influencer campaign called ‘Team Fetch.ai’.

The influencer team will include Immortals’ Wild Rift player GosuHoon, VALORANT content creator Sheila ‘Pterodactylsftw’ Weidman, as well as Queens Gaming Collective streamers and content creators AvaGG and Demisux.
The members of the new influencer team will serve as brand ambassadors for Fetch.ai and take part in a number of activations to drive engagement. Some of the planned activations include streams in which viewers can win merchandise and NFT’s, as well as custom-branded Twitch streams and jerseys.
This is the first time Fetch.ai is cooperating with an esports brand. The Cambridge-based company is building a decentralised machine learning platform aimed to give access to ‘the power of AI on a world-scale dataset’.
Brett McGrew, Immortals’ VP of Partnerships and Activation, commented: “As Fetch.ai enters the gaming space for the first time, we’re able to serve as an authentic platform for their brand by integrating them with our expanding influencer roster. We look forward to working with the Fetch.ai team to bring their brand to life through engaging activations that showcase their industry-leading technology.”

Immortals join the growing number of esports brands that have secured partnerships with the cryptocurrency industry. This includes entities such as Team Liquid and FaZe Clan, the latter of which recently signed a partnership with crypto company MoonPay.
Esports Insider says: Immortals was one of the few North American organisations yet to secure a crypto partnership. The cooperation with Fetch.ai seems like a refreshing new twist, with the focus being on esports players and content creators.
