The movie “CODA” raked in the Oscars on Sunday’s Academy Awards taking home awards for Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Picture.
The film made history when Troy Kotsur became the first deaf actor to win a Best Supporting Actor award.
What is CODA about?
According to the film’s synopsis, “Ruby is the only hearing member of a deaf family from Gloucester, Massachusetts. At 17, she works mornings before school to help her parents and brother keep their fishing business afloat. But in joining her high school’s choir club, Ruby finds herself drawn to both her duet partner and her latent passion for singing.”
Where is CODA streaming?
Right now, the only place to watch CODA is on Apple TV+, but after seeing how many awards they won, it seems a no-brainer to get the streaming service if you don’t already have it.
