VIP Contracts are the main elements of The Contracts DLC. The main bulk of The Contracts DLC has you completing minor contracts for regular income and then eventually unlocking VIP Contracts that progress the main story. This is how you meet Dre and other characters featured in The Contract DLC. It’s actually relatively quick and easy to unlock VIP Contracts, you only need to complete a single mission, or maybe two.
How To Unlock VIP Contracts In The Contracts DLC For GTA Online
Before you can unlock the VIP Contracts you need to start the regular contracts by registering as a CEO and then completing the first mission. We actually completed two, as shown below.
- 1x Liquidation Mission
- 1x Gang Termination Mission
At this point, Franklin will give you a call and ask you to meet at the Golf Club. This is a story mission where you meet Dre and he will ask you to take care of a minor problem and if you can, he will give you more work. Once you pass the mission Dre will send you VIP Contracts so you can progress through the main story. You will need to complete one more mission before Franklin calls you about the new contracts. You will then need to follow the story for a short time before VIP Contracts become available.
