Traits are a fun and powerful new addition in FTK2. This guide on How To Unlock All Traits In For The King 2 provides a full list of the Traits we have unlocked so far, details on what the trait does, and information on how you can unlock the Trait in your own game.
For The King 2 is still very new so it’s difficult for us to be exact in the methods we’ve used to unlock different Traits. You’ll get a pop-up prompt in the top right corner of the screen informing you when you have unlocked a Trait, but it doesn’t give additional information. We have included the activities and achievements we experienced at the time, which should be accurate enough for you to unlock the trait yourself. We’ll update it as the community understands more about the system.
How To Unlock All Traits In For The King 2 & List Of Traits
Tactician
Trait Effect: Gives a character the Skill: Tactics
How To Unlock: Do a certain number of crits or deal a certain amount of damage
Nimble
Trait Effect: +1 Secondary Action
How To Unlock: Move a certain number of squares in one turn. We think it was about 8+
Gifted
Trait Effect: +3 to all stats
How To Unlock: We reached level 7 after defeating the Bandit Den in The Resistance, on the second area
Deep Thinker
Trait Effect: +1 Focus, Skill: Eureka
How To Unlock: Use 8+ focus in a single turn on the overworld
Lucky
Trait Effect: +25 Luck
How To Unlock: You need to find the Skeleton Key and then use it to open a secret room

Eager
Trait Effect: Skill: Eager

Navigator
