How do you sign up for the World of Warcraft The War Within beta? If you just can’t wait to experience the first instalment of The Worldsoul Saga, here’s how you can explore the subterranean depths of Azeroth before the full expansion arrives this year.
The The War Within release date is due later this year, but in the meantime, you can sign up for a chance to be a tester in the beta. Players who preorder the Epic Edition can access the beta as soon as it becomes available on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, but you can also opt-in separately for free. Successful applicants will be sent an invitation to participate, so if you want to be in with a chance to experience the next World of Warcraft expansion ahead of launch, here are the steps to follow to access the beta on your Blizzard account.
How to access The War Within beta
Here is how to access the World of Warcraft: The War Within beta:
- Sign up for the WoW The War Within beta over on the official website.
- If you’re granted entry to the beta, open Battle.net.
- Select World of Warcraft from the favorites bar or ‘Games’ tab.
- Open the ‘Game Version’ drop-down menu located above the play button.
- Select The War Within, listed under Development.
- Click install.
- Once installed, click play and select any available test servers.
- Create a new character or use the character copy to import your existing Dragonflight character.
- Enter and play the game!
Players will be notified via email about access to The War Within beta before and during the beta, so it’s worth keeping your eyes peeled for an invitation.
