How To Get To The Second Sea In Fisch
Reaching the Second Sea means defeating Cthulhu in combat… okay, maybe we need to explain a little bit more. First, let’s go over how to find the Cthulhu boss fight. Then we’ll tell you how to handle it.
How To Find The Boss
As you spawn in on the new update, you might notice a few changes, but things look fairly normal on the archipelago. No exploding mountains or the sea floor breaking open. So we’d forgive you for being a little confused. So let’s go over what you need to do to get to the boss.
Note: You need to be Level 250 to take on Cthulhu. If you’re not… time to get grinding!
- Head to Terrapin Island.
- Move around the southwest side of the island, where you find the bunker doors.
- You should find a large cave mouth there, with an NPC next to it. (Coordinates are X 132, Y 150, Z 2042).
- You can speak to the NPC, or head into the cave. He will inform you if you are too low level.
- Inside the cave, speak to the NPC Silas inside to open the gate. He will open the gate if you are underleveled, but once you enter the hallway beyond, the other cultists will hurl fireballs at you and kill you unless you are over 250. Harsh.
- Once you’ve passed the cultists, you can enter the main chamber and wait on the portal to get teleported to the Cthulhu boss.
The Cthulhu Boss
Within the chamber you will find the dread Cthulhu, sealed and chained in the depths. Now, you need to face him. Fortunately, you have some tools at your disposal. Let’s explain how to fight him.
- Pick up a Keeper’s Torch from the arena floor. This lets you fling fireballs at the monster.
- The fireballs only do a small amount of damage by default, but you can do much more if you empower the torch from the colored lanterns around the arena. Check the different colors under Cthulhu’s health bar. Whichever colour zone his current health level is in, that’s the color of lantern you need to find and use to power your torch up.
- First Section – Red Lantern
- Second Section – Orange Lantern
- Third Section – Yellow Lantern
- Fourth Section – Green Lantern
- Fifth Section – Blue Lantern
- Last Section – Purple Lantern
- As Cthulhu’s health goes down, he will break his chains and begin unleashing more powerful attacks, including a fireball projectile and a full arena AoE.
- Eventually, his health will deplete to nothing, and Cthulu will disappear, leaving a portal behind, which the cultists will rush into. Follow them through, and you’ll arrive in the Second Sea hub island.
So, now you know how to get to the Second Sea in Fisch. Of course, there are still a few questions. Is Cthulhu gone for good? Or just unleashed? Maybe we’ll find out soon. Seems like the cultists are still lurking about. Perhaps the Second Sea means Oscar The Keeper is still out there somewhere. We’re excited to see all this new world has to offer. We’ll see you on the other side as we get to covering more info on this massive update.
