The Overgrown Prismatic Key is an item in Destiny 2 that helps you unlock the full potential of the ability soup Prismatic subclass. But finding the key itself is a bit of a puzzle, requiring you to track down four damaged ghosts.
In this Destiny 2 guide, we’ll go over how to get the Overgrown Prismatic Key and unlock the Facet of Mending prismatic fragment.
How to get the Overgrown Prismatic Key
To get the Overgrown Prismatic Key, you must first collect four damaged ghosts. They are found on the way to the Overgrown Prismatic Key chest and can be collected in order. We’ve detailed the ghost locations below.
Ghost one location
Load into the Lost City location and turn around. Head through the old Vanguard room and jump down the hole on the right. Make your way outside and cross the large open area.
Once you reach the next Lost City loading zone, continue forward following the path above. Once you reach the room with the large tree in the middle, jump up on the wooden archway.
The first ghost is on a signpost hanging next to that archway.
Ghost two location
Head back into the room with the tree in the middle and locate the doorway above.
Walk forward until you reach the railing.
Once you reach the railing, jump down, and the ghost will be located under the stairs.
Ghost three location
Use the platforms off the ledge of the railing to jump across into the room shown corridor.
Continue forward until you’re back outside.
Turn around, and the ghost will be on above the doorway.
Ghost four location
Continue to follow the outside path until you reach the large yellow radar type thing.
The ghost is located on the center-left piece, as shown above.
Where to find the Overgrown Prismatic Key
Once you have all four ghosts, continue down the path until you see four ghost markers on your map. They will be next to a chest and a plate. Stand on the plate and kill the four waves of enemies that spawn. Once you kill the boss, the Overgrown Prismatic Key will drop. Use that key to unlock the chest and acquire the Facet of Mending.
