Doors Floor 2 Giggles
Giggles looks a lot like Grumbles, another new entity in the Doors Floor 2 update. They do resemble each other quite a bit, but there are slight differences, especially in how they behave. It only appears in The Mines!
When attacking the player, Giggles likes to drop down from the ceiling and attach itself to their face. A bit like a face hugger in Alien! Instead of tentacles like Grumble, Giggles has 4 legs and 6 eyes.
Giggles attack you when you don’t look at them and when you walk too close whilst they hide in the ceiling. If you turn away when you’re looking at them, breaking eye contact, they will also attack you.
How to Counter Giggles
When attacking you, you cannot see anything, and your HP goes down by 10 for 4 ticks. You detach the Giggles by removing it yourself and throwing it across the floor. Or, if you have other players in your party, they can help to remove the Giggles entity.
You can sense nearby Giggles by listening out for a faint wheezing sound and laughter. They are mainly found on the ceiling, so try to keep an eye out above you at all times. To counter a Giggles throw glowsticks at it (which also stuns them) and shine a laser pointer in its face or any type of flashlight.
Keeping a fair amount of distance between yourself and the Giggles whilst maintaining eye contact with it is the best none-offensive method..
