The Honor 50 series was unveiled in mid-June and went on sale ten days later. The vanilla Honor 50 and the 50 Pro were available in four colors at launch, but now there is a fifth option – the limited edition “Honor Code” colorway.
It features the letters of “HONOR” scrambled randomly on the back. The colors of the background and of the letters shift depending on the angle of the light reflecting off them. Of course, there’s a matching wallpaper pre-loaded.

The limited edition units cost the same as the standard ones, meaning the vanilla phone starts at CNY 2,700 (here’s a link to the official store (in China) and the Honor 50 Pro starts at CNY 3,700 (link). For now you can only reserve a spot in the queue, the proper launch is set for September 3 at 10:08 Chinese time.
Note that only 1,500 units will be produced for each of the “Honor Code” models. They come with a matching protective case, the pre-orders for the Pro version also include a free pair of headphones.
