Esports and gaming job platform Hitmarker has partnered with Esports College & Career Pathways (EsportsCCP), an organisation providing support to students in pursuing esports education and careers.
The partnership seeks to provide data insights into the esports gaming job market and to form a ‘more accurate picture of the esports and gaming industry’ by publishing case studies.

As a result, Hitmarker will be providing Esports CCP with data from its website, while the organisation will provide data analytics to determine insights into the job market.
Richard Huggan, Managing Director at Hitmarker, commented: “Ours is a very unique set of data in the esports and video game industry. We believe it can be highly educational to people both inside and outside of the industry.
“We’re really excited to work with an objective third party to investigate and present our data externally for the first time. We hope the data provides a lot of value to the community and helps to inform people’s career progression.”
The first case study, which is set to be published on June 14th, will provide information on entry-level jobs availability in the esports and gaming market. According to the release, the study aims to ‘showcase the information that is hidden from students and recent graduates until they start their job search’.

“To this end, we would like to provide relevant timely industry data on the current job market so that gamers can make an informed decision.”
Esports Insider says: Hitmarker’s contribution to the esports industry is admirable, and this partnership only reflects its commitment to help develop better hiring processes within the space. Optimistically, this initiative will help many to succeed in their esports careers.
