Elden Ring creator and all-around Souls gaming legend Hidetaka Miyazaki has touched base on the game’s difficulty, and feels more players will get around to actually finishing the game compared to his previous works.Speaking on the PlayStation Blog, Miyazaki-san explained that FromSoftware have not intentionally lowered the difficulty, but the open-world design means that players are able to take on Elden Ring’s various challenges at their own pace, and receive outside help.We don’t try to force difficulty or make things hard for the sake of it. We want players to use their cunning, study the game, memorise what’s happening, and learn from their mistakes.
