Filming on HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 has reportedly been postponed again due to how busy Pedro Pascal is as of late, with the actor appearing in huge project such as Gladiator II and Fantastic Four.As previously reported, The Last of Us Season 2 was set to begin filming on January 7, 2024 and would air in early 2025 — two years after the series premiere. However, thanks to Pascal’s packed schedule, it is now believed that production will commence on February 20, 2024, and is expected to end on September 9. The Last of Us Season 2 is expected to partially cover the events of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2, which itself is getting remastered for the PS5 in early 2024. However, showrunner Craig Mazin has previously said that the game will be told across more more than one season, and has indicated that four seasons of The Last of Us ‘sounds like a good number.’Related Content – Sony PS5 Complete Guide – Everything Explained About PlayStation 5 For New Owners In 2023The Last of Us HBO is now available to buy on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD.[Source – Insider Gaming]
