343 Industries recently rolled out an update that was supposed to alleviate some of the matchmaking issues players have been facing in Halo Infinite’s Big Team Battle mode. Unfortunately, it appears it hasn’t quite worked, according to the developer. The update dropped last night and included “minor service adjustments to improve BTB matchmaking.” However, according to 343 Industries’ community director Brian Jarrard, the hotfix hasn’t made many improvements. “Well, damn… today’s BTB hotfix does not appear to be the outcome we expected,” Jarrard said on Twitter. “There are minor improvements, but overall, matchmaking issues are still occurring. Thanks to the folks who have been working hard, and we’re sorry this didn’t quite get the job done. Work continues.”One player asked Jarrard on Twitter about weekly challenges tied to Big Team Battle. Jarrard said that due to the matchmaking issues “persisting longer than expected, this is being investigated as well.”Are you still running into issues with Big Team Battle? Let us know down in the comments your experience with Halo Infinite after installing the update.
