It’s rare that anything beats Modern Warfare to the top of the chart, so to see two recent games at first and second, with Modern Warfare at third, is no mean feat. Forza Horizon 5, at second, continues to enjoy a successful launch, which the devs say was the “biggest launch in Xbox history”. Just below Modern Warfare there’s Fortnite at fourth, with Call of Duty: Vanguard rounding out the top five. GTA: San Andreas — The Definitive Edition has fallen three places to sixth, while Apex Legends has dropped to eighth. Then we have GTA V and Rocket League bringing up the rear at ninth and tenth. Battlefield 2042 has climbed two spaces to 13th, while the Xbox One version of Battlefield 2042 has flown up nine spaces to 17th. Next up is a slew of games falling down the top 30, broken up only by NBA 2K22 at 25th, before Sea of Thieves drops anchor at 29th. Outriders reappears in the top 40 at 32nd, while It Takes Two, which was nominated for Game of the Year, falls five spaces to 33rd. Then we have Scarlet Nexus reappearing at 35th, with PUBG: Battlegrounds rounding out the top 40. This week’s three disappearances are Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, EA Sports UFC 4, and Marvel’s Avengers. Looking ahead, we’re almost through November now, and December brings us a range of releases like Halo Infinite to look forward to, as well as any Xbox Game Pass additions Microsoft might surprise us with. What do you think? Will Halo Infinite stay in the top spot, or will Forza Horizon 5 reclaim it? Let us know what you think in the comments!
