In January, 343 Industries was due to share more on Halo Infinite’s campaign co-op, Forge, and seasonal roadmap, but that announcement has now been delayed, according to Joseph Staten. In a tweet, Staten explained that the team needed more time to finalise a few things before it shares its plans on the future of Halo Infinite, which includes campaign co-op, Forge mode, and a Seasonal roadmap. “We need more time to finalize our plans, so what we share is something you can rely on,” Staten said. “This work is my top priority, and we’ll have an update as soon as we can.”Back in August, Staten revealed that Halo Infinite would ship without campaign co-op and Forge mode. At the time, it was suggested that co-op would launch during Halo Infinite’s second season (and Forge in Season 3), which was initially due to start sometime early this year. However, 343 recently extended Season 1 to May, delaying Season 2 as well as campaign co-op and Forge mode. Campaign co-op is a key Halo feature that players have eagerly awaited news of since the game launched in November. Hopefully, 343 will be able to share more on campaign co-op and Forge soon. As soon as we hear more, we’ll update you. In other Halo news, 343 Industries believes it’s fixed Big Team Battle’s matchmaking issues and says an update with the fix is due to roll out sometime this week.
