Season Three — Echoes Within — will arrive from March 7th, with a new weapon, the Arena and Big Team Battle maps, new equipment, and more.It’s during the video above — around 11:50 minutes in — that 343’s head of creative Joseph Staten confirms that campaign split screen co-op won’t be coming to the game at all. While discussing the game’s future, Staten adds that the team will also “work on experiences that we’re not quite ready to talk about yet,” which led to “the difficult decision not to ship campaign split screen co-op,” explaining that the resources they would have used for that can now be used for working on other things.
