Halo fans may have to spend the next few months dodging Halo Infinite spoilers as 343 Industries confirmed over the weekend that some campaign files had been datamined from the recent technical preview and leaked onto the internet. 343 Industries’ Joseph Staten took to Twitter once the developer had found out about the leak, confirming that spoilers regarding Halo Infinite’s campaign had found their way onto the internet. “Hey folks, heads up: we unintentionally included a small number of Halo Infinite campaign files in the tech preview build. Unfortunately, these files contain spoilers,” Staten said. The creative lead didn’t go into detail about what had leaked for obvious reasons and urged fans not to spread any Halo Infinite spoilers if they came across them. “Leaks like this are painful for the dev team and can ruin the campaign experience for everyone,” Staten wrote in a follow-up tweet. “So please, keep your eyes peeled for spoilers and don’t spread them if you see them.”Those invested in the Master Chief’s story will have to browse the internet carefully to avoid any spoilers until Halo Infinite launches sometime this holiday season. As several Twitter users and Brian Jarrad, Halo’s community manager, pointed out; it’s probably worth muting certain keywords related to Halo Infinite before its release so that you don’t run into anything that could ruin your Halo Infinite experience.
