A second update for Halo Infinite’s Big Team Battle mode that should fix some of the matchmaking issues players have been running into will hopefully roll out this week, according to 343 Industries. Last month, 343 pushed an update that was supposed to alleviate Halo Infinite’s matchmaking issues; however, the fix didn’t work, and matchmaking errors were still present. Now, over on Halo Waypoint, 343’s senior community manager John Junyszek says the team has used the data it’s received from the previous update and made a new build with a patch that should fix the Big Team Battle woes. “Using the telemetry we received from the hotfix on January 19th, we were able to make a new build with an update that we believe should address the core issue impacting the BTB playlist,” Junyszek said. “The studio ran a successful playtest today and plans to send it off for certification on Monday.”Junyszek notes that the update will need to go through Microsoft’s certification process before it’s approved. 343 hopes to roll out the update on February 3rd at the earliestThe post over on Halo Waypoint also talks more about Halo Infinite’s Shop, which is undergoing some changes. Junyszek says the team has heard calls for individual items to be made available in the Shop, as well as bundles, but explains that the storefront doesn’t support this currently, but it’s being looked into. “We’ve seen the desire to have bundles while making the individual items within it purchasable on their own,” Junyszek said. “This is not something the Shop supports right now, and we’re evaluating our overall presentation to see how we can better meet the needs and expectations. Through the rest of Season 1, our focus is to provide a better offering of individual items and bundles to help players get the customization they would like without having to buy larger bundles.”Are you still seeing issues with Halo Infinite’s Big Team Battle mode?
