Hajime Tabata Announces ‘RPG For Adults’ Shallah; Takes Inspiration From One Thousand And One Nights

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata has announced that his new studio, JP Games, is working on an RPG for adults known as Shallah.The project uses One Thousand and One Nights as a backdrop, and according to Tabata-san, features intense battles of magic and sorcery, as well as a love story between a goddess and a human. Shallah is powered by Pegasus World Kit, which is JP Games’ properitary middleware, with support from Quantum Solutions, who owns the IP. Here’s what Tabata had to say on the project:Quantum Solutions has recently offered to work with us on a joint game project, and we have started development of the RPG SHALLAH, which we have been planning for some time. I will be involved in both the development and business aspects of the project as a producer.
