Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online players can expect to see a host of improvements to the game on Xbox Series X|S consoles, as well as some new content exclusive to the latest generation of consoles in GTA Online.Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto V onto another generation of consoles, breathing new life into Grand Theft Auto Online while players wait for GTA 6 to emerge. Los Santos is launching with a wealth of improvements, like three new graphics modes that feature 4K/60fps, HDR, raytracing, and more, 3D audio, and faster loading times (thankfully). Alongside the visual and audio improvements, Rockstar has added a new Career Builder to GTA Online, which is aimed at new players or those that want to restart. You’ll be given the option to choose from the Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner, and Biker Criminal Careers, as well as choose from a selection of properties, weaponry, and powerhouse vehicles. This is all aimed at giving you a good start in GTA Online, and a great starting point to experience everything Los Santos has to offer. Players that play GTA Online through the standalone purchase or with GTA V for Xbox Series X|S will have access to all current and future updates. That’s 40 updates available right now, and to make it easier to find and take part in the game’s wealth of content, a new menu has been added to GTA Online. While those upgrades themselves are pretty tasty additions to the bustling streets of Los Santos, players on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 can also expect to see some exclusive content when they boot up GTA Online. Hao’s Special Works are exclusive to the latest generation of consoles and can be accessed by answering your phone when Hao calls and completing the introductory mission. Once you’ve completed the mission and subsequently unlocked the shop, you’ll have access to a range of HSW upgrades and modifications for a selection of vehicles — Übermacht Sentinel XS, Shitzu Hakuchou Drag, Grotti Turismo Classic, and Bravado Banshee. Five brand-new vehicles have also been added to GTA Online on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 and can be upgraded with HSW upgrades and modifications: Coil Cyclone II, Karin S95, Imponte Arbiter GT, Pfister Astron Custom, and Pegassi Weaponized Ignus. The upgraded vehicles will be eligible for use in the new HSW Race Series and HSW Time Trials, and the Los Santos Car Meet will be showcasing Hao’s premium test ride vehicles each week alongside the other Test Ride vehicles. Even better, you can purchase the HSW vehicles there and then without needing to log into the website after your test drive. Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online for Xbox Series X|S is now available to all players. Don’t forget that you can import your Xbox One GTA profile to the new versions, and those that do will receive an HSW-upgraded Karin S95 once they’ve unlocked Hao’s shop. Are you currently enjoying the sights and sounds of Los Santos in a new generation?
